NEW YORK — The WE Charity sold its downtown Toronto properties, including an office tower and parking lot in the financial district, for a total of C$47 million, or $36 million, the nonprofit said Thursday.

The deal included the first edition of the WE Charity headquarters on Queen Street, which sold for C$11.25 million ($8.7 million), while the Real Estate One garage that serves as the site of the building’s parking lots and entrances went for C$21.5 million ($17.5 million).

Two of the charity’s former associates, the Ritz-Carlton Toronto and the Best Western Plus Hotel, were sold for C$2.5 million ($2 million) and C$8.3 million ($6.6 million), respectively.

The sale also included the Royalton Hotel, which was sold for C$16.8 million ($13.1 million).

All of the properties are owned by We Sponsor a Champion and will be kept in common ownership, the charity said. No one from the WE Charity was immediately available for comment.
