Inside a luxurious penthouse overlooking famed Times Square in the United States’ tallest building.
Yes, it’s only one of the world’s tallest hotels, but the W New York Times Square is truly one in a million, with nearly 1,000 rooms and suites, including 55-foot-high suites with indoor pools, fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city below.
Each of the hotel’s rooms is connected to another by a series of elevators, with an option for separate balconies. The W has its own level of amenities that travelers can log into from wherever they are. Guest favorites include on-site concierge, a lounge area with an open bar and clubby atmosphere, a 24-hour fitness center with a sleek European-inspired gym, fully equipped saunas and cold plunge pools and 10 restaurants, including Coq D’Argent, a steakhouse, and the seafood-centric Captain Patrick’s Cove.
It may be small by luxury hotel standards — at just over 100,000 square feet, W New York Times Square only has about 25 suites compared to the average of more than 50 suites per hotel — but the hotel is still building out to its full potential, with new rooms that will open in early 2019. (Rooms start at around $2,699 for standard rooms.) With its innovative lifestyle offerings, W New York Times Square isn’t just catering to locals, it’s open to attracting guests from all over the world.
